If you have looked into spas for any amount of time you have no doubt heard about swim spas. But how is a swim spa different from a normal spa? Where a normal spa pool is a seated, heated hot tub style massage and relaxation station, a swim spa is a bit different. While swim spas are still heated and still have a couple of massage seats, they are much bigger than a spa pool. Swim spas are designed to perform the role of a plunge pool, an exercise recovery centre and a home gym.
In fact, swim spas are so diverse that we think they’re even better than a swimming pool and here’s why. Swim spas range from 4m to 6m in length and are 2.2m wide and 1.3m deep. This means they are big enough for even the tallest user to swim at pace.
